Trade with roots. Taste with a future.

For centuries Norwegians have travelled the world to trade, explore and exchange goods and ideas. From the Norse trade routes to today's global market, Norway has been tied to the world through commerce.

Saga Trading carries that tradition forward — with taste as our commodity.

From Norse trade routes to today's market

The story

We import selected wines to Norway and open the door to producers, regions and wine traditions from across the world. At the same time we take some of the best of Norway out into the world: Norwegian cider from Hardanger, shaped by fruit, climate and craft with deep roots in Norwegian tradition.

Wine has followed the trade routes north throughout history, and today we make that journey again — with modern knowledge, strong relationships and respect for the producers we work with.

Like the seafarers before us, we believe the best journeys begin with curiosity.

Two directions of trade

From the world to Norway. From Hardanger to the world.

Cider from Norway

On the other side of the trade stands Hardanger. Between fjord and mountain grow apples that have become an increasingly important part of Norwegian food and drink culture. From here Saga Trading brings Norwegian cider to international markets.

Norwegian cider built on Hardanger's fruit, climate, craft and traditions.

The bridge

Saga Trading is the bridge between these markets

We believe in trade that creates connections. Between people, cultures and flavours. Between tradition and innovation. Between Norway and the rest of the world.

Norway and the world
A two-way connection built on knowing both markets.
Producers and markets
We stand close to the producers and know the road onward.
Tradition and innovation
Old knowledge managed with modern working methods.
People, cultures and flavours
Relationships that outlast any single delivery.

Flavours with a story

We look for products with character, quality and a story worth telling. Whether it is a wine from a classic European region or a cider from a small producer in Hardanger, the goal is the same:

To carry great taste experiences across borders.
